Detox Services
Serenity Healthcare provide complete detoxification treatment packages from substance dependency and addictions.
Treatment packages are agreed following assessment prior to admission, conducted by our expert and experienced admissions managers.
The treatment package/service consists of a comprehensive assessment of needs which will form a bespoke care plan for treatment. Pre-admission an assessment is conducted to ensure your suitability and that we can provide the care you need. Following admission our doctor will conduct a full medical assessment and prescribe a detox to meet your needs. Detoxes are monitored by staff to ensure you are as comfortable as possible and that you complete as planned. A risk assessment will be conducted to assist in identifying and managing any key areas of behaviour, this will be reviewed. Bespoke care plans are reviewed to assist you in meeting as many of your goals as possible and to work towards completing treatment, part of this care plan will be to prepare as much as possible for leaving treatment. A treatment contract is agreed with you to set the boundaries for engaging in treatment and to assist you in your recovery.
Treatment programmes consist of a timetable of activities containing; group therapy, group workshops and educational sessions, group activities which are creative or relaxing, and some physical activities walks or gym where available. You will have a key worker who will provide one to one support. Your treatment will be centred around you, you will be involved, consulted, and we will seek your consent when necessary. We will provide a safe environment to be in, with suitable accommodation. You will be assisted in ensuring your nutritional needs are met. Where your needs require a referral you will be provided the assistance to do this.
Following completing treatment an aftercare group is available to assist in your ongoing recovery.
